INAUGURAL SEASON
The format
Forty-five minutes of continuous work, scaled to your own numbers, filmed start to finish. No event has been held yet — the first is Dubai on 19 September 2026, with the finale in Bali. Each heat is 10 athletes.
The session
- Duration
- 45 minutes
- Load
- Scaled to you
- Engine
- Assault bike + rower
- Standards
- Strict
- Record
- Two cameras
Continuous, non-stop high-endurance work. No programmed rest and no scheduled breaks.
Working weights are set from the 1RM figures in your application, so failure is cardiovascular rather than a rigged bar.
Interval work between lifts. The clock never stops for either.
Rep depth, lockout and pace are judged. Short reps do not count.
Continuous from the first rep to the last, with nothing edited out.
What is judged
Four things decide whether the work counted. Nothing here is a matter of opinion on the day.
- Depth
- Squat to below parallel at the hip crease. Short reps are called and do not count toward the total.
- Lockout
- Full extension at the top of every pressing and pulling rep, held long enough to be visible on camera.
- Pace
- The clock does not stop. Time spent stationary is time lost, and the interval starts whether you are on the machine or not.
- Continuity
- One take. A cut in the footage voids the submission — that is the only automatic disqualification.
What a submission needs
Film it at your own gym. If any of the following is missing, it cannot be judged — so check before you start rather than after.
- The full 45 minutes, unbroken, from the first rep to the last.
- Two camera angles, both running for the whole session.
- The clock visible in frame, or started on camera at the beginning.
- Loaded weights visible and readable at least once per lifting block.
- No cuts, no speed changes, no edits of any kind.
Not decided yet
This is the first season and some of it is genuinely still being settled. Rather than write around the gaps, here they are. Each is published in full before the first qualifier.
- The exact circuit — movement order, interval lengths and rep targets — published in full before the first qualifier.
- How the scoring sheet weights total work against pace and standards.
- What a place at the finale carries beyond the place itself.
- Entry cost, if any, for the qualifier stage.
